Forest Hills, Tennessee – A Gorgeous Community

Forest hills is a neighborhood in Davidson County, Tennessee. The area is home to a number of businesses and organizations, including the Forest Hills Business Association, the Forest Hills Neighborhood Association, and the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce. The neighborhood is also home to several schools, including Forest Hills Elementary School, middle school, and high school.

The first recorded use of the name “Forest Hills” dates back to 1834, when it was used as the name of a post office in the area. In 1869, the name was again used for a different post office that was located in what is now known as the city of Nashville.

The neighborhood of Forest Hills has a long history dating back to the early days of Nashville’s development. Some of the earliest settlers in the area were members of the French Lick Springs settlement, which was located just to the south of present-day Forest hills. Next Article Here

The area was also home to a number of notable events in Nashville’s history. In 1864, Union troops occupied Nashville during the course of the American Civil War. And in 1866, a devastating tornado struck the city, causing significant damage to many parts of town, including Forest hills.

Despite its long history, Forest hills is still a relatively new neighborhood compared to other parts of Nashville. The area was not annexed by the city until 1949. And it wasn’t until 1955 that the first homes were built in what is now known as Forest Hills.
